Some of you are aware that this happened to us today, a total power loss. It was not a monsoon but a sudden power loss to more than 10 servers. That can be very damaging. One of our UPS units batteries shorted and killed the power. If it was a MONSOON we would have been protected.
To our customers that have servers in the cloud with iDEAL, Hosted Exchange email and websites here we apologize for this short term outage. We were able to recover most of the servers. Some had to be restored from back up because the Operating System corrupted at the sudden loss of power.
